Hi-de-Hi readers
Lynn Gale, of the Undershaw Preservation Trust, has sent me a photo of sitcom legend Ruth Madoc with a copy of my book An Entirely New Country and Sherlock's Home.
For the benefit of those who are not familiar with Hi-de-Hi it was a sitcom set in a fictional holiday camp and Ruth Madoc played Gladys Pugh the love-starved camp announcer. More about the show can be read here.
