One of the most common myths portrayed in screen adaptations of Holmes stories (well the Victorian ones) is that Holmes injected cocaine directly into the vein.

Richard Roxburgh injects incorrectly (and at the wrong time) in the BBC's 2002 The Hound of the Baskervilles

This was never the case as Mr Tracy's book explains. It is still possible to obtain via various sites but it would be good to see it updated.
